Session 2 of Elevate: Mastering Communication, navigating Conflict and Fostering Collaboration

I am happy to share the highlights of Session 2 of Elevate, where our focus was on developing effective communication strategies for leaders, navigating and resolving conflict, and fostering a culture of collaboration. This three-hour session was not just informative; it was an engaging experience filled with active participation and valuable insights from all attendees.

One of the key takeaways from our session was the crucial role of communication in leadership. We explored how effective communication can either bolster or undermine a leader's impact and influence. The importance of clear, honest, and constructive communication cannot be overstated, as it lays the foundation for strong relationships within teams.

Participants had the opportunity to put their skills into practice through role-playing scenarios. They demonstrated how to deliver critical feedback to team members, tackle conflicts between colleagues who were struggling to meet goals, and discuss the various communication styles that can either promote or impede a collaborative culture. This hands-on approach allowed everyone to gain practical experience and learn from one another’s perspectives.
